Lease Renewal for Tenants

Home > Products > For Tenants > Lease Renewal for Tenants

The lease renewal package for tenants provides you with knowledge and certainty about your lease. We will review the entire existing lease and provide you with a comprehensive report on every clause. You will also have the opportunity to discuss the lease and report in detail with one of our attorney’s to make sure you feel confident about any aspect you are unsure about.

We then will negotiate directly with the landlord’s representatives after discussing with you your goals. You will be in control of the decision making process, but will have an experienced negotiator working on your behalf to assert your interests. Also, we will find comparable lease rates to give you the knowledge of what is going on in the market and so you can look objectively at the situation as the landlord will.

Once you have made the payment, you will be prompted to review a representation agreement between you and the Moschetti Law Group. This step ensures that there is clarity as to your rights as a client, as well as the scope of the representation.

Your account won’t be charged for the services, until the Moschetti Law Group countersigns the representation agreement, making sure both parties agree to the transaction.

Upon receipt of the countersigned agreement, you will be given a secure link to upload your lease document. At that time we will also schedule a phone call to establish our goals, discuss your priorities and strategize their achievement.

The charge for lease renewal is $2,950. This service is designed for tenants who want to renew their lease on the same, mutually agreed upon, or changed terms.

Here what is what Moschetti Law Group will strive to accomplish through the process of renewal:

  • Abstract the existing lease to understand the current rights and
obligations of both you and the landlord
  • Discuss with you your goals with the renewal
  • Build the case for local rents and occupancy rates, basing our
negotiation with the landlord on facts, rather than assumptions
  • Conduct negotiations till a mutual agreement is reached
  • Prepare the necessary legal documents to reflect the renewal
  • Deliver the documents to both interested parties for signature.

Removes the possible antagonism between the landlord and the tenant - a lease is a long-term relationship and you want to start it on a right note.

Helps to keep the lines of communication open, so no one leaves the table while the lease is under negotiations.

Ensures that the least important items do not get in the way of agreeing on the larger, most important terms of the lease.

We understand the delicate nature of negotiations and strive for the balance between satisfying your interests and reaching an agreement with the landlord.
